Bought your EP my wife and I listened to it at dinner. My only complaint is that it's too short, with songs that good I have to listen two or three times a go to get my fill :) Really great though, so sincere and from the heat, a rarity these days. Listen to 'The Antlers' Hospice CD, also deals with hospitals, beautiful and gut wrentching...

Right on I'll give it a listen. Thanks, hale may has been fun. Last year we played a bunch of great shows. I am thinking of posting my folk/americana music here today, need to think of a clever name though. I really like this community of musicians though, I have been so caught up in the seattle scene it's a nice change. I have many connections in seattle and have been telling people about your music and I posted your video on facebook. 'Ox Blood' started out as 'House of Wind'. The main run of the song is actually baritone ukulele. Then added the percussive instruments, bells, strings and lastly the electronic bits. I have been really into mixing folks sounds (late 60's British Isles) with electronic sounds. BTW, if you get a chance look up an artist called 'Cotton Jones' they are brilliant...

Thanks for giving a listen! I hear in your music Will Oldham (Billy Prince Bonnie) some Greg Brown
and even some bits of Beatles (more acoustic) I'm thinking more of the Let It Be album. I always hate to draw too many comparisons. It's very good though. Is your EP that your have for sale the same vibe? The other side of me is very Americana/Folk. I play in a band called Hale May (www.myspace.com/rightliving) and also do some of my own Folk/Americana music. This new er stuff I'm doing is experimental and I'm just throwing it out there to see what kind of reception it gets. I'm at a point in life where I just want to make music that makes me happy and not worry too much about what people think...
Cheers,

Excellent I really like the style of your music...I'm guessing your somewhat eclectic with your writing? I hear various influences in your song but it is also original. I just uploaded a new tune that is a tribute to 80's bands like Pet Shop Boys, New Order, Early Ministry, Skinny Puppy and even a splash of Love & Rockets as well. Would love to hear your thoughts if you have time.
